A bit of news and closure…

Closure can be a good thing. In fact a very good thing… But at the same time tinged with sadness. I suppose I knew the inevitable, I really did. A rash decision if you ask me, but then what would the future have brought. Would it have worked? Probably not, and I have to realise [...]

Bank Holiday Monday after the bike ride…

Well approximately 130 miles were covered by the Round table team from assorted Round Tables in the Manchester area. Good Friday, saw the following route: http://cyclemeter.com/b88ee4dd4e9a0211/Cycle-20140418-0835?r=e With Easter Saturday seeing the following route: http://cyclemeter.com/b88ee4dd4e9a0211/Cycle-20140419-0909?r=e All great, great fun, and I must admit the biggest challenge was the ascent of Holme Moss from the Woodhead Pass [...]

Yesterday was a great ride; Hyde to Liverpool and back

Yesterday saw a group of Round Table chaps, including yours truly don the Lycra and head to Liverpool. Myself and two others met at the Village at Hyde and then cycled to Manchester Victoria, to then meet up with the others, and off we went to Liverpool. This is where the physical fun starts… A [...]

Glad to be back home after a long day.

A very productive day in Manchester as I launch, push the new business, and make progress. Yes! But thanks to all the people who have supported me thus far. Means a lot. Tired, but happy, and not been this happy in a while. Really looking forward to doing even more! Tweet

I do like the bar in this hotel

I have always liked the OpusOne bar for a quite peppermint tea, good wi-fi, and getting work done. It’s the Radisson Blu on Peter Street, Manchester. And the music is funky ambient, which I most certainly love! Tweet

A nice morning run from Glossop to Gamesley Wood

A lovely 6 mile run this morning to Gamesley Forest and back again to Glossop. Really enjoyed it, and the bridleway in the forest was near enough empty. All part of my getting fit and losing weight! Tweet

I am not worthy… Whoops… Texts… Whoops.

These two chaps are absolute diamonds, and I mean that, and they certainly know why. I woke up this morning in the early hours and decided to send texts; unfortunately both had theirs phones on, and I woke them both up. Argh… Really sorry chaps… Mr Spank clearly needs to go to Botty Town. Thanks [...]

Yawn… Why have I woken up in the middle of the night?

Why, oh why, have I woken up in the middle of the night? Ah, might have something to do with going to bed early after being tired and emotional from the house party… Tweet
