A lovely morning run…

A lovely morning run with the sun breaking through into Mossey Lea outside Glossop, and up into Doctor’s Gate. A rest to watch the world go by, and to enjoy the solitude, then a run back to Old Glossop. A great weekend of walking…

The Bank Holiday weekend just gone saw some great walking, and with good company and banter. Sunday saw a nice walk up to Bleaklow from Old Glossop and back again, taking in the Pennine Way and Doctor’s Gate. Not really tired after sleeping over at the Macclesfield Beer Festival.

Well, typing at father’s pad in Macclesfield after successfully sleeping over at the beer festival, with Nick Thompson (separate bed) as we guard the marquee and newly installed beer. Last night saw the bar completed, and the troops were rewarded with beer and curry! Tweet

Well after the Ingleborough walk, yours truly was driving, and had to drop off Messrs Baker and Higgins. But we decided on reaching Stockport to have a cheeky pint in the Magnet pub on the A6. And we also had other “pigs” with us for company – Vikki and Steve Latus, and Mr James Bose. [...]
