Ill in Ansruther… With a dog.

Well, here we are on our third day in Ansruther – look it up on a map, suffice to say it is on the east coast of Scotland and sort of in the middle of nowhere, hence my having no Vodafone signal. Humph… A lovely garden flat is the residence for the week. But we [...]

Dog stuff this morning… with Ted.

A demonstration of Ted and selective hearing, especially when the cafe involved (Lime Kiln) serves dog sausages. Video evidence: Ted at the Lime Kiln, Uppermill, 21st Oct 2014. Tweet

A windy day… When running via Pule Hill.

Out for a 6 or so mile run yesterday with Claire and Ted the woof woof. It was a tad wild, which interestingly enough brought the wildness out in Ted; who proceeded to run around like a maniac. The top of Pule Hill was unbelievable with the wind. I estimate it was blowing solidly around [...]

It’s a dog life when it’s cold outside…

Well it is a dog’s life, or should I say a Ted’s life as we rushed around this morning. A certain someone of the furry disposition was more than happy where he was… That said he did rouse himself for a walk and a snorker at the the Lime Kiln this morning. Tweet

Bleaklow run with Claire and Ted…

Yesterday saw a great run with Claire and Ted the dog from Old Glossop up to the summit of Bleaklow and back again via Doctor’s Gate. A bit of a hard run in places but with great views. A funny incident was seen in Claire losing the sole of one of her Walsh trail boots, [...]

An Area 46 meeting with the Area 46 pigs…

There was a gathering, yes a gathering at Almost Famous, then the pigs were introduced to Taps around the corner on a rather nice yesterday evening in central Manchester. Round Table area stuff was discussed, beer was consumed (not me, driving), and constructive criticism was directed at fellow Tablers… Tweet
