Yawn… Why have I woken up in the middle of the night?

Why, oh why, have I woken up in the middle of the night? Ah, might have something to do with going to bed early after being tired and emotional from the house party… Tweet

Yesterday’s house party (well gathering) was a delight.

I really enjoyed have a variety of people around at the pad yesterday and thank you weather for holding off! A great selection of food was had by all, and a good selection of drink as well! It was great to see Nick with Millie and Luca, and little William with a clearly happy Lisa [...]

The Weather…

I would not be British if I did not comment on the weather! Well as I mentioned in my last post I have an open house in Glossop for friends, and hope the weather stays okay. I even considered buying a gazebo for the garden this morning, but whilst cloudy the rain is holding off. [...]

Back out running and cycling again

Well, I am back getting fit again after letting that side of things slip. Yesterday saw a six mile run around Mossey Lea, followed by a lovely bike ride on the Giant Defy to and from Charlesworth. Looking forward to losing some weight and toning up if honest! Going to be hard work, but I [...]

Not going to give up…

I now realise after getting better after a bad bout of depression that I let someone down, and it hurts, like nothing I have ever known. I sent stuff I should never have sent and I was not in the right mind at all, and was hurting, and the rest. But I have no excuse. [...]

Great walk today on Stanage Edge with the offical Steve Baker. Bit brisk with plenty of wind, but good fun nonetheless. I do love the hills above Glossop where I live. And especially when walking with great company! Tweet

Well it has been a while… Since the last post. Back to report.

Well the Cobley has not been posting on the blog about his goings on for what has been a while and a while indeed. Variety of reasons I suppose, but neatly divided into personal and work. All in all a tough 2013 if I am honest for personal reasons, and as I look back 2012 [...]

Up early and snotty… A cup of tea beckons…

Awake, dressing gown, 5.41am in the morning, snotty, snotty, snotty, and about to get a much needed tea, dark outside, that time of the year, heating on, badger, yawn, switching things on mentally, badger, yawn, laptop on, desktop on, need to decide on clothes, badger, snot, badger. Tweet

Today could and is likely to be a day of decisions.

Today is a day of decisions, yawn, but tea and coffee and the scratching of the bum has to come first. The Cobley is slow to rouse in the morning at times, and contemplates “things” and thus is best left to lurch about, examining all that is pointless, with a “just right” amount of waffle [...]
