Well relaxing after a three mile run with young Calum on the disused railway behind his house. All very good, and well done to Calum for running that distance at my pace when he is 11 years old. Yesterday saw Claire and I drive to Loch Lomond for a run up Ben Lomond which was [...]
Well it was frosty this morning, and the first frost of the year in Saddleworth, so a rather brisk walk with the four legged burglar alarm come Found Us Mascot. Currently in the Manchester (Quantcast) office typing away before the next meeting. Nice and toasty in the office, and lovely and fresh outside.
It is Saturday 29th August and I am sat in the lounge listening to Josie speaking to Claire about the holiday she has just been on with her sister Rose to Scarborough. We have been back nearly a week after our cycling trip to the Hebrides. The day before saw Claire and I out in Edinburgh for [...]
Well August saw a cycle tour from south to north of the Hebrides, with time spent calling into to stay with Claire’s cousins in both Ullapool and The Black Isle. All in all a great adventure to say the least. The weather was for the most part alright, but not great, with some bad rain [...]
I thought that I would write a note as to fell running and recruitment, which probably seems at odds. What is fell running you ask, and I suppose most know as to recruitment. With fell running it is about running in the hills or the fells of the Lake District and losing yourself as well [...]
It was with pleasure that Peter Cobley (yours truly) of Found Us participated in a pro-media Manchester debate at Workplace on Oxford Road. The debating topic, “Pitching or tendering is an effective way to win business” was and is a tricky one to defend and fight for. Well that is exactly what Joe Gosling and myself did [...]
Well it is that time to let people know that new roles have been uploaded to Found Us – www.foundus.co.uk – and if interested please do not hesitate to let Peter Cobley know!
A fresh Bank Holiday Monday sees me add new roles to the Found Us website. Whilst the Monday is not the best in terms of weather, it is good to be adding a number of cracking roles to the website, and the finale is The Edges Club Handicap race… In terms of the roles, do [...]
So on the 12th I ran 32 miles for the Haworth Hobble, and on the 19th I ran 40 miles for the Four Inns. Not the best diary planning methinks, but highly enjoyable. The most interesting thing for me being that it is not the physical stress you put yourself under, but also the mental [...]
Well I ran the furthest I have ever yesterday at the Haworth Hobble – 32 miles to be exact! Great event and great people. Really enjoyed the company of Stuart Hutchinson and Des Thorpe. http://fellrunner.org.uk/races.php?id=3251 https://www.flickr.com/photos/petercobley/sets/72157665270697380/
Well, not been posting for a while as the website is broken; due to the fact that PhotoSmash is not working… Grrr… A bit annoying. So in the interim do enjoy my Flickr photos, and the following little snap. https://www.flickr.com/photos/petercobley
