A nice lie in after what was a long, but fantastic day in Belfast with Chris Pattinson, David Tutin, and Barbra Tutin. Flight with Easyjet from Liverpool was at 7am yesterday morning, delayed for an hour, but we made half an hour back. Then straight off to the Busmills distillery for a tour and whisky – excellent, and really good fun.

After Busmills it was off to the spectacluar Giant’s Causeway, full of tourists mind you, in the baking hot sun, but a great pleasure nonetheless. I would strongly recommend visiting this Natural Trust.
After the Giant’s Causeway it was into Belfast for a few beers before the flight back. We had a couple of beers in The Crown, a beautiful old world pub, then moved onto a couple of others in a very trendy part of Belfast that I new nothing about, a hidden gem.
