Well I can safely say that I am pleased that I made it to Mountain Feet in Marsden and met Si and Gyp. Si was really helpful in recommending a correct pair of fell running shoes – Salomon Speedcross 3 with orthotic footbeds, as my foot struggles to form an arch. Noticed the difference when I put the footwear on, much more comfortable and I am very happy. The shoes with footbeds and some Niwax wash and proofing all came in at a really reasonable price. I would most certainly recommend Mountain Feet to anyone concerned with correct outdoor footwear. Friendly, expert, and helpful.
And Mountain Feet is dog friendly, and Gyp is a lovely dog.
Ted? Wandered around and explored, made a fuss, barked at a young customer in surfer dude shorts (must not like them) and played with Gyp’s plastic bone… Note to self: Swiss Finishing School for Ted.
