Found Us website, and a weekend of the Lake District and Peak District...

A website, fun watching the Anniversary Waltz, and a walk around Longnor...

This week, and it is only Tuesday, sees the Found Us website re-launch (well... it's technically not a re-launch) with a new candidate section and some tweaking. All in all I am proud of it, especially the candidate section where I can showcase the people I look after.

The weekend just gone saw some excellent outdoor fun, with mixed weather. Saturday was sadly the last Anniversary Waltz from the village of Stair near Keswick, in which my lovely wife Claire raced with fellow Saddleworth Runners. Ted and I were in support as we ran from Stair to High Spy to a marshall point to watch the runner pass. I was proud of Ted running 3.5 miles and 1,600 feet near enough non-stop with the temperature at 21 degrees Celsius. After some food (left over KFC for Ted from the night before, which went down well) and race watching we then followed the runners back at a fair old pace; so there is certainly life in the 11 year old Terrier!

Well done on the Saddleworth Runners who ran the Anniversary Waltz at 11.5 miles and 3,600 feet of climb.

Sunday saw a nice relaxed walk from Longnor in Staffordshire to Parkhouse Hill with a posse of people, some I had not seen in roughly 8 years! It rained on and off all day, but we managed to see some sun.
