It has been quite a while since I last posted on my blog, as I have been busy. A bit of a proverbial mixed bag. So, we start January with all going well in terms of personal and work stuff. Meetings, fell runs and the like and focusing on the close of the first year of my business and the start of the second. But on February 4th 2015 I received a phone call at 4.30am from Mum explaining that Bernard, my stepfather had passed away at Macclesfield hospital at 3am in the morning. A body blow to say the least, to say the least… All went well as we all operated in a daze until the week of the funeral when the strain started to show. The funeral on the 20th was hard, very hard, but not as hard as the aftermath which involved dealing with the loss and looking after Mum. I suppose it really hit that weekend. From the Sunday when Mum was dropped off at home things got harder… All in all the 4th February until yesterday 10th March were hard and if honest a bit of a blur…
